about the studio

the phathouse is a professional Christian project studio located in Portsmouth, UK. The studio uses 100% digital recording technology and is able to take advantage of the latest computer-based audio and MIDI recording facilities.

The studio is mainly used for small album projects and demos. We have the facilities for all aspects of studio recording on site meaning that everything can be done on one premesis. The studio is however, fully portable and can be taken and used for live recordings, with the subsequent mixdowns being done here.
